Ice and plants can coexist in a natural environment although ice and cold temperature can be destructive to plants. I wanted to express this paradox through multiple canvas with different shapes. The triangular canvas has sharp edges and a dark and passionate color of paint on the surface that imply destruction and death of the plant. On the other hand, the circular one was used to induce the sense of warmth and a thriving plant. In the middle, I wanted to capture these two contrasting images of how plant can be affected by ice.
