This drawing is a representation of the unforgettably horrific discovery of finding rotting pork in my suitcase. My grandmother asked me to pack some top-grade precious pork from Jeju Island to bring back to my family in Seoul. To make a long story short, I forgot about that pork in my suitcase. After a few days, the foul stench started to pervade my room, and it was then that I realized my horrible mistake. Before I disposed of it, curiosity got the best of me. I opened the plastic bag and unwrapped the parchment to take a peek. I don’t think I can ever erase that image from my mind, and to this day, I still have a hard time enjoying meat like the way I used to before this experience.
